2024 Recharter and Registration

This year we are going to continue to be proactive and ask EVERY parent or adult leader to fill out a brief form indicating you registration status for 2024. As most of you know, each year, the Troop must recharter and register with BSA national which includes paying registration fees. The national fees are $80 per Scout per year (an increase of $5 over last year). Our Troop charges $100 per Scout, which is no increase over last year; the additional amount helps us pay for things like the annual summer picnic, refreshments at Courts of Honor, and of course any equipment the Troop needs. You also have the option to opt-in for Scout Life magazine which is unchanged this year at $15. We highly recommend each family getting at least one subscription to Scout Life as it’s always packed with great information.
In the past we have not charged Adults who are registered with the Troop as leaders (normally a $60 fee). However, due to the rising costs ($15/adult this year), we have made the decision to only subsidize active adult volunteers with our Troop. The Troop pays this fee in part to help make the decision to volunteer your valuable time with the Troop a bit more palatable.
Please, take a brief moment to fill out our registration page. If you submit the form more than once, we will assume the latest submission is your most accurate. We ask that this is completed by each family no later than November 6th.
