Hello Troop! At tonight’s meeting we will be having elections! If you are planning to run for SPL, please come prepared with a short speech. We will also be planning patrol outings and possibly working on more Camping Merit Badge requirements. Finally, since it is after Labor Day, we will be meeting inside with Class A’s.

Hello Troop! At tomorrow’s meeting, Mr. Strauss will be teaching the camping merit badge, which is Eagle-required, and we will be having a tent-setting-up competition with prizes for the winning teams.

Hello Troop! Tomorrow’s meeting will be at the Bear Creek Lake Park Archery Range at 6:00pm. If you can carpool, that would be cheaper as park admission is by car. There is no fee for archery. Equipment will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you wish.

Hello Troop! At tomorrow’s meeting we will be having a board game night, so bring your favorite board games. If enough people show up we will have a round robin type competition.

Hello Troop! In lieu of a meeting tomorrow, we will be having a Troop picnic in Clement Park to celebrate all of the achievements that our Scouts have made over the summer. Food will be served at 6:30pm and it will be located in the Clement Park Pavilion closest to the North entrance of Columbine High School (parking in the teacher lot is ideal). See the flash alert or other notice in this newsletter for more information and to sign up to bring food.

Hello Troop! At tomorrow’s meeting we will be doing the Dutch oven cook off. To allow time for this, the meeting will start at 6:00 instead of the usual 7:00pm. The Troop will be providing the recipe and ingredients, so all you need to bring is your cooking skills.

Hello Troop! At tomorrow’s meeting we will be getting into groups and planning a meal to cook at next weeks Dutch over cook off. Neither me or my ASPL will be there, so Nik will be running the meeting.

Hello Troop! At tomorrow’s meeting we will be finishing the Tenderfoot fitness requirements at the church. We will also be making plans to help recruit Webelos to join our Troop. If there’s extra time, we will do more game show questions.

Hello Troop! At tomorrow’s meeting we will be doing a “makeup” meeting for Project Tenderfoot. I know that might sound boring, but we’re going to do it like a game show and have prizes for the winning teams.

Finally, since it is summer, we will be meeting outside in Class B.

Hello Troop! Tomorrow’s meeting will be an activity night at the Ridge Rec Center at 6:30pm. Anybody who needs a swim test for summer camp will be able to get it done then.

While this doesn’t apply to this meeting, since it is after Memorial Day, the rest of the meetings for the summer will be outside in Class B’s.
