Church Cleanup

This Saturday, 5 November, starting at 2 PM (or immediately after we are done with annual planning), we have a service opportunity.  Each year we help Genesis Presbyterian Church, our Chartering Organization, with raking leaves at the church.  The leaf raking provides us a number of great things.  Most importantly, it is a wonderful way to say “thank you” to Genesis for chartering us and allowing us to use their facility throughout the year.  Second, it provides an opportunity for service hours needed for rank advancement.  It also allows us to live the Scout Oath and law through “helping other people” and  being “Helpful” through volunteering without expecting a reward.

Please come out to Genesis this Saturday to provide some time helping us get the church ready for the fall.
