Sand Dunes Campout

Join us for the long-awaited, and finally booked, adventure to the Great Sand Dunes National Park! We have secured a group campsite for 3 nights in October to coincide with the mini-fall break that Jeffco Students have! It’s a long drive, so we will plan to leave on Thursday, set up camp on arrival, then enjoy the Dunes for 2 full days on Friday and Saturday before we break camp and head back home Sunday. We will be looking for leaders and drivers on this one as we hope to bring as many Scouts as possible! We will discuss further details in upcoming meetings, but sign up early to secure your spot! Final costs depend on the total number of attendees of course, and due to the long drive and extra night, we anticipate this one to cost a little more than our typical campouts.
