2025 Ice Climbing
We have once again filled all the spots for this trip!
2 Scouts have backed out of this trip which means we have 2 open slots to fill!
————————-
We plan to head back down to Camp Alexander to Ice Climb again based on the popularity of last years weekend. Official signups haven’t begun yet but we anticipate them to begin soon so we need to start getting our numbers together. Last year we ran out of spaces, so sign up early!
This date is still very much flexible depending upon the availability at Camp A and our leaders but for now we plan to go the same weekend we went last year (the weekend after MLK Day) locked in!
We will book cabins so this is more of a camp-in, however we do anticipate cooking on our own – much like our typical Winter Retreat. Signups for the ice climbing portion open up very soon and we hear the slots go fast so we’d love to get a good count. Please sign up ASAP! If we run out of spaces that we booked, you will have to be on the waitlist, or plan to attend without the ice climbing portion. More details to follow!
From Camp A:
Personal Gear List (BRING THESE ITEMS)
Waterproof pants and Jacket for winter conditions. Please be aware the crampons are sharp and may cut your pants if your not careful.

All participant will need a Ice Climbing Waiver. You can find this on the Ice Climbing page https://s3.amazonaws.com/storage.pikespeakbsa.org/event/docs/7588/ice_climbing_waiver.pdf
