Project Tenderfoot

Unfortunately, due to lack of interest and availability of attendees, we’ve made the tough decision to cancel this year’s Project Tenderfoot.

We plan to be back at the nature school parking lot at 915 AM Sunday April 13.

The goals of the weekend are to have fun, help the new and second year scouts work on camping related rank advancements and give the other scouts a chance to work on leadership and teaching skills.

Scouts be sure to bring a mess kit for eating and the scout 10 essentials.

We will be camping at Bear Creek Park, Lakewood Colorado in the group campsite (aka camp Home Depot) Plan to meet at the Abiding Hope Nature School Friday April 11 at 530 pm with of a goal of leaving the parking lot by 600pm. Scouts should eat dinner before arrival or bring a sack dinner to eat at the campsite.

We will be holding our annual Project Tenderfoot campout this weekend (had to move from the originally planned weekend as the site was already booked). We were able to secure our old location, under the lights of Mt. Home Depot, at Bear Creek Lake Park! Reserve your spot now as we help our newest Scouts advance to Tenderfoot or futher!
