The fishing trip is this coming weekend and we’re excited to get our fishing line back in the water without drilling through ice!  Here’s a couple of quick items everyone needs to know for the trip…

  1. Scouts 15 and younger do not need a fishing license.
  2. All scouts aged 16 and older must have a youth fishing license.  They’re about $25 (license+habitat stamp) and are valid until March 31, 2026.  Licenses can be purchased at WalMart, Sportsman’s Warehouse, online, and at other sporting goods retailers.  If you buy it online and don’t pick it up at a retail store, be sure to print your temporary license and bring it with you on the trip.
  3. Fishing Gear is not Not Required, but if you have a fishing rod and tackle, please bring it with you.
  4. If you’ll need a fishing pole, please contact Mr. Naber as soon as possible to make sure we have a pole you can use!
  5. Troop will provide basic gear (hooks, floats, and worms).
  6. Bring a sack meal with you for Friday.
  7. Patrols will plan meals for Saturday and Sunday morning.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Chris Naber at 720-840-5326 or
