IOLS Training @ Bear Creek
Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) training is going to be offered at Bear Creek Lake Park, from 5pm Friday October 4th to 5pm Saturday October 5th.
Learning Objectives for Adult Leaders
– Know how to accomplish outdoor skills while fulfilling advancement requirements
– Acquire the skills necessary for instructing Scouts using the EDGE method to lead, plan and carry out successful camp outs
– Increase leaders knowledge of BSA outdoor skills resources
– Demonstrate the outdoor skills necessary for basic camp outs
IOLS is required to be considered fully position trained as an ASM.
Cost: $25 registration, plus park entrance fee.
