Merit Badge Opportunities Reminder

Looking to continue working on Merit Badges but not sure how to do that? Don’t forget there are many of opportunities available to you online, in-person, and with the Troop! Here are just a few ideas:

The Cell – The Counterterrorism Educational Learning Lab provides access to a few Merit Badges for FREE! Check them out for Emergency Preparedness, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the World, and Crime Prevention/Safety classes.

Colorado Adventure Point – CAP provides various Merit Badges throughout the year and also a Merit Badge College day occasionally as well where you can earn several badges in one weekend for a nominal cost.

Troop 640 Counselors – Don’t forget that the Troop has tons of opportunities for earning Merit Badge “in-house!” We have a list of all Merit Badges and Counselors listed here in our Resources/Links tab of our website. If the counselor field is blank, just ask any adult leader and we will work to get a counselor for that Merit Badge (and adults, remember that we’re always looking for counselors!).
