New Tents!

Great news everyone! Alps is holding their annual Spring Sale and the exact tent that the Troop has been using for the past 7 years (Taurus 4-person) went on sale. So we have decided to purchase an additional 5 brand new tents! In addition, the matching footprints also were on sale, so we have purchased a total of 10 footprints. This means no more fighting over tarps that don’t properly fit the tents! We will distribute the footprints to the best remaining “old” tents and keep the remaining tents as backups/part replacement as needed.

The tents will be arriving this coming week and will likely spend some time during an upcoming meeting setting them up to ensure we’ve got all the right parts and pieces.
