October 26th Meeting Now Online
Howdy,
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) said it is now limiting personal gatherings to no more than 10 people and two households.
This is due to Colorado’s seven-day moving average positivity rate climbing to 5.81% (i.e. more than 1,000 new cases). This is above the 5% threshold recommended by the World Health Organization for keeping the coronavirus under control. This recent rise in COVID-19 cases put Jefferson County at risk of being moved to Level 3 of the CDPHE Dial Framework.
Sadly, this means we will be moving back to on-line meetings. I’d like to spend time at Monday’s meeting discussing the best way to move forward. We really need to see what the Scouts want/need to stay motivated and productive — and committed to the program.
Feel free to “attend” the meeting in costume. We can still have a contest to see who has the best costume, most creative, etc.
Peace,
Jon C Strauss
Scoutmaster
