Rafting Adventure – Cancelled
Update 5/9/21: Due to lack of interest, we have decided to cancel the planned Rafting/Winter Park adventure.
Update 5/2/21: We have solidified dates and need numbers so we can book our rafting adventure in the mountains! Please sign up to indicate your intention to attend the rafting portion of our campout.
We are in the early stages of planning our rafting weekend in June. One thought was to spend a day (after rafting) at Winter Park, having some fun with their summer activities, however they don’t open for summer until June 19th. With that said, we are thinking about that weekend for this adventure. Tentative schedule:
Friday, June 18th – Depart church for Kremmling area campground (site TBD)
Saturday, June 19th – Rafting adventure based in Kremmling
Sunday, June 20th – Fun day at Winter Park (Alpine Slide, scenic lift, etc)
Sunday, June 20th evening, return home
My thought is that families who don’t want to raft could come meet us at WP for the outdoor fun. We will continue to discuss this at our next couple of meetings so don’t miss out!
