Scoutbook
As many of you know, we have been working hard behind the scenes to implement a new tool for our troop to keep track of advancement, events, leader info and more!
Scoutbook is a tool that is promoted by Boy Scouts of America and is becoming more integral to their record keeping as time goes on, so we would like to take advantage of its capabilities and its ability to connect with our modern scouts!
With that in mind, over the next week we will be sending out invites for parents to join Scoutbook.
In turn, parents will be able to invite their scouts to join as well. We will be available at meetings to answer questions, will be sending home basic instructions for initial sign up, and have attached a quick-start guide and also a more in depth tutorial to this email.
As we make this transition, your understanding is much appreciated! There are bound to be some inaccuracies and we will be diligent in working through these as they come up. Please let one of us know of these as you come across them.

If they need to be changed, please let us know so that they be changed at Council. This is important as to avoid corrupting your Scout’s information.
