Summer Camp 2025

First of all, I am planning to order T-Shirts on Friday, May 16th.  I still have not gotten sizes from several of you.  Please email, text or directly tell me what size T-Shirt your Scout wants.

This morning, I attended a virtual meeting for Adult Leaders going to BDSR this year.  Here are some of the highlights:

  1. Forms do not need to be uploaded ahead of time, we will take all forms with us.  Please try and get me all medical forms and waivers by Monday June 16th, which is the last regular meeting before we leave for camp.
  2. Waivers.  During Open Program Time, almost all activities (horseback riding, shooting, rock climbing, etc) are open for Scouts to try.  The camp recommends that all Scouts bring signed waivers for all activities, so participating is an option during the open program time.  Waivers were emailed to all parents.  They need to be printed and signed, and then I will collect them.
  3. This camp has a Western theme and has 2 Western Wear days.  It is not mandatory, but if you have Western Wear please bring it.
  4. Food Allergies.  No one has told me about any food allergies yet, but I do need to notify the camp ahead of time, so if there are any let me know.

Lastly, I got no feedback about cots, so I am going to reserve cots for everyone at a cost of $5 each.  This will lighten our packing quite a bit.

As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns.
