Summer Camp Finances

We have made our initial payment to Summer Camp and due to us being a little late on the registration, we had to pay a little over half of the fees for Adults and non-First Year Scouts. For some reason, the BDSR system made us pay for First Year Scouts in full. The breakdown is as follows:

Full Cost for Youth = $425
Full Cost for Adults = $175

First payment per non-First Year Scouts paid 3/17 = $237.50
Payment per First Year Scout paid 3/17 = $425.00
First payment per adult paid 3/17 = $110.00

This first payment includes a non-refundable $50 deposit. You can technically cancel by 5/1 but would lose the $50. It’s best to try to find a replacement at this point.

Final payment per non-First Year Scouts due 5/1 = $187.50
Final payment per adult due 5/1 = $65.00
No additional fee for First Year Scouts due

The first payment has already been deducted from your Scout Accounts – expect the second to come out just prior to 5/1 when we make that final payment.

Merit Badge/Activity Fees

Keep in mind that some Merit Badges or Activities have an additional fee with them. The Course Catalog outlines these fees. As we sign up for the Merit Badges or Activities, I will keep track of the fees, pay them, and charge your Scout Account accordingly. They will show up as a separate line item in your Scout Account. Make sure to take note when your Scout and you go over his preferences for Merit Badges as some do cost additional. Trappers Rendezvous (for First Year Scouts) has a $32 additional fee for Basketry and Leatherworking Merit Badges.
