Virtual Court of Honor a Success!

Thanks to everyone who attended our first ever Virtual Court of Honor! We had around 30 different connections to the Zoom meeting including scouts, family members, and extended family members. Here are more stats:

9 Scouts earned new ranks including 2 new Eagle Scouts and 1 new Gold Eagle Palm!
11 Different Scouts earned 41 new merit badges!
Every Scout earned their Social Distancing (sort of) Merit Badge
15 Scouts earned a special Backyard Camping patch for taking part in our first ever Virtual Campout.

We also had updates from our SPL, Scoutmaster, and Committee Chairman, as well as a short, but sweet video of our recent activities. We celebrated Klondike, K1 Racing Activity Night, our Virtual Campout, and several “regular” troop meetings.

While we of course all hope that our next Court of Honor can be held in person, I think we’ve proved that Scout Spirit is alive and well, even in these trying times. We are all extremely proud of our boys!
