Volunteer Opportunities

Scouts, I am doing my Eagle Project the Weekend of 8/16-17, and I need some help. I am building 4 benches for my school. 

On 8/16 I will be painting some wood that is pre-cut and I will need as many volunteers as I can get. If you can help we will be working from 9-1 and we will be providing lunch. This will be at my house (4382 S Independence St. Littleton CO 80123).

On 8/17 I will be assembling the benches. I only need a few volunteers for this because I will have some family friends helping. It will be from 1-4 and I will be providing a snack. This will be at my grandma’s house, (4651 S Deframe St. Morrison CO 80465).

• August 16th, 7:30 am to 11:30 am – Parade – Pooper scoopers as you get to walk along in the parade.

WWW – Parade Pooper Scooper 2025Meet in the northwest corner of the north lot of ACC (Church Ave. and Rapp St.) at 7:30 am.  The group will then walk to Dave Law’s Offices before beginning the 1.7 mile parade route to walk in the parade and scoop poop for horses along the route. 3-4 wheel barrows and a shovel for each scout are needed.  Please comment on your RSVP if you can provide a wheel barrow. Saturday, 2 November at Abiding Hope Nature School, starting at 10 AM. We will be doing our calendar planning for 2025. Remember that EVERYONE is invited, especially if you want input on all of our trips next year! We will also be raking leaves and moving equipment from inside storage to outside storage.

A huge shout out and thank you to all that helped get a ton of work done earlier today at our annual trailer cleanup! While several adults worked to repair our broken trailer corral, Scouts emptied and reorganized the trailers, pulled copious weeds, organized our wood piles, performed wasp/bee duty, and consumed pizza! We worked from approximately Noon until just after 5:00pm. Photos at the normal location on the website!
